In the constant war to legalize poker online, sometimes there are casualties.

The latest is a 51-year-old Missouri man has been charged with participating in the conduct of a gambling business and conspiracy to launder the proceeds of a gambling business by the U.S. District Court of Maryland. Keep in mind this is something that the vast majority of poker players don’t do.

Kenneth Wienski of O’Fallon, Mo., according to newspaper reports, was charged under the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) for transferring money to and from Internet gambling operators to fund player accounts. He was also charged under Maryland criminal code, which states that a person may not “receive, become the depository of, record, register, or forward, or propose, agree, or pretend to forward, money or any other thing or consideration of value, to be bet wagered or gambled on the result of a race, contest or contingency.”

A criminal complaint filed by Detective Richard Gunn of the Anne Arundel County Police Department details the relationship payment processors play in the business model of Internet gambling operators who choose to accept bets from U.S. players.

The UIGEA, as most poker players know, is a ridiculous law that should and hopefully will be repealed in the U.S. soon. The injustice must end.

Blinds are 125/250 which makes my stack 16 big blinds. I need to steal blinds to stay alive in this MTT and I can’t just wait for poker hands. In what may not have been the best time to do this, I raised to 750 with 4-9 off. This is a pure position bluff. I have been fairly inactive, so I was hoping to look pretty strong. The small blind calls and the BB folds. SB has about 11K chips. When he called me I thought to myself, ‘Crap. I need a miracle flop’. Flop is K 3 7 SB checks. Once he checks I have to try and take it down. Logically, I should try and check it down and salvage what little I have left of a stack. But if I win this poker hand, I’m in a good spot. If I bet and he calls, I’m even worse off. But I honestly thought I could win by representing a better preflop starting poker hand, a better ace or something, and make him fold. I’d done something similar a few orbits earlier, maybe even against him, Blinds were 100/200 and I made it 550 in late pos with 22. The flop was 4-10-4. The out of position player checked and I jammed with what was likely the best hand. He folded. So I tried it again. I shove 3200 into about an 1800 pot. SB calls with KQ. I brick out and bust. Maybe this continue bet bluff for all of my chips was not the best idea.

The flop came out Q-7-7, turning my hand into a very unlikely set, so naturally, I was pretty elated. I swallowed the ‘whoop’ that wanted to jump out of my mouth and tried to figure out how to get the most out of my online poker hand. I’d had a lot of big hands win nothing but the blinds because I’d played them the wrong way, so I made a quick sweep of the guys in the hand. Next to me was an opponent who would fold if he missed the flop (which I’d guessed he did), two players to my right was a loose, aggressive poker online player and next to him was the short stack. I figured that the small stack would get out no matter what, and betting would scare out the tight player next to me, and I wanted to give him a chance to draw a high pair, but if that didn’t work, I could at least count on the aggressive guy to stay in the hand. I checked, the loose guy raised, and to my pleasant surprise, the short stack went all in. I called, so did the aggressive guy. After two more check raises, I had two guys all in against me and the best hand after the river with my set of 7’s.

If you are prone to falling in love with online poker hands, you’re not going to be winning very often. Knowing when to make a big laydown will mark you as a solid player and will help you finish in the money. Here are a few things to look for if you’re faced with making a big fold. How’s your opponent’s stack? If your poker online opponent has a big stack, he can afford to make a move for a big pot, much more so than an opponent who has more to lose with a bluff. If you’re opponent has a ton of chips, then it’s more likely that he’s bluffing. If he’s a smaller stack who’s putting a large percentage of his chips into the bet, then he’s probably got a hand that he likes, and you probably want to fold. Have you been forced off good hands recently? If you’ve already folded a lot of big hands recently, then it’s probably a good idea to not fold. With your previous folds, you’ve shown yourself as an opponent who can be chased off of a hand, and you opponent may be trying to steal another pot from you.

Makes a nice alternative from the mere 24 pics my old Kodak instamatic could handle. I bought a camera last week and can assure you it was not a decision I made lightly With so many brands models and technical features to come to grips with not to mention the reviews that tend to oppose each other to some extent. It’s easy to get overcome by it all. I found that using a site like dpreview.com is very handy as this site branches the camera by features, price, and popularity It also offers for the most part unbiased reviews and precious reader feedback. At the end of the day no amount of reviews or spec’s can make the decision for you. You really need to get one in your hands to know what feels correct for your style of photography

In the simplest terms a “rock” is a very tight player who rarely engages with the game. If you are more used to official poker terms than poker slang, a rock is a conservative player. Playing poker like a rock has certain financial advantages, particularly because you will lose less in the long run. The financial virtue of playing like a rock is the fact that you only pay the antes or blinds when required, and never risk money in a pot you don’t have a chance of winning. However, if you never bet on a pot you cannot win, you lose the ability to bluff effectively in poker. Many people feel that bluffing is the main point of the game, so you may miss out on the fun if you play like a rock. Rocks fold often and only play poker online if they have a strong hand. While this is, in itself, not a bad strategy, it can be very detrimental to you if you are labeled a rock by the other players. If you get this label, it means that the other players know your strategy. That is never a good place to be in because the other players at the table will use it against you. By assuming that you are going to fold whenever you have a mediocre hand, they may be able to bluff successfully against you.

Maybe you are an occasional bowler looking to take on this intricate sport more seriously. When bowling is your goal, you’ve stumbled upon a crucial rebirth in growing as a dedicated bowler. My introduction to “Bowling Like a Pro” can help get you there. Pros from a local bowling pro shop are there to assist their customers reach their bowling zen mental toughness. It’s no surprise, knock the pins down to win! That’s a joke. Fine, so it’s more complicated than that. No worry, we’ll get you bowling your way.

Most importantly, get a knowledgeable friend to help you purchase custom fit at any number of bowling pro shops in your city. You’ll notice a difference with your own stuff. It’s no joke, have your private ball drilled for custom finger holes, and you’ll never go back. A correctly fitted bowling ball can make a substantial improvement in your game. Of course another critical matter is wearing well-made bowling shoes that have shoe laces!

If you went ahead and purchased your supplies, listen to another important piece of bowling advice: aim how the pros aim. When you wait to roll, don’t actually aim for the actual pins. Use the markings like a sight on a firearm. Some greenhorn bowlers don’t even know they’re there. It’s less difficult to aim for a point that rests closer. To get the most out of your aim, double check to see aim from the same position on the floor every approach. Roll from the same place, in the same way and you can adjust your aim using the arrows in the lane.

What do you make of massive hooks on the ball, to achieve their desired pin action? That’s the third-most essential bowler tip. The secret is the their expensive reactive resin balls. Many pros bowl and carry several types of bowling balls to pull off amazing hooks, depending on the type of game and lane. Just a bit of caution: begginers might want to avoid putting on a show, and avoid a ball that weighs a ton. Some pro bowlers invest heavily in bowling balls made for extra expert grip. Steer clear of them, because these balls regularly make even decent talents appear like beginners. That about raps it up. There will be more next month.

My family and I manage a company team (US Systems) made up of morning shift for a major bowling ball retailer just outside Las Vegas. I chime in with guidance to beginning bowlers online and in my local newsletter. Lastly, I gotta plug my bowling buddies back home. Sorry I can’t be there.

A wish is a hope or want for something. Fictionally, wishes can be applied as plot devices. In folklore, opportunities for “making a wish” or for wishes to “come true” or “be granted” are subjects that are sometimes employed. In fiction a wish is a magic demand put on the recipient’s infinite asking. When it is the core of a tale, the wish is normally a template for a morality tale, “be careful what you wish for”; it can as well be a tiny part of a tale, in which example it is often used as a plot device.A template for fictional wishes could be The Book of One Thousand and One Nights, specifically the tale of Aladdin, although in the tale of Aladdin the true wishes were merely part of the narrative. Also, Aladdin’s requirements, while outrageous, were principally variations on wealth (which is still often taken as the most popular request).Classically the wish provider is frequently a spirit, Genie or similar entity, held or constrained inside a everyday object (Aladdin’s oil lamp for example) or a container closed with Solomon’s seal. Releasing the entity from its constraint, commonly by some simple process, lets the object’s possessor to realize a wish.A wish lantern is likewise celebrated as a chinese lantern and people are known to make a wish and then spark a wish lantern which coasts into the dark sky and is said to make the wish come realThe subservience of the extraordinarily potent entity to the wisher can be explained in various ways. The entity may be thankful to be free of its restraint and the wish is a thank-you present. The entity may be confined to obedience by its prison or some other item that the wisher has. The entity may, by its nature, be unable to employment its powers without an instigator.A wish lantern is also well-known as a chinese lantern and individuals are identified to make a wish and then light a wish lantern which glidesfloats into the night sky and is stated to make the wish come true.

It is so easy to walk in the woods along a trail, what is not so easy is hiking without a trail. For a real adventure imagine hiking without any trails and with just a compass and the sun to guide you. In parts of the world there is still a vast amount of land that is no developed and for hundreds of miles you could hike in any direction that you so choose. If you went for it with any trails it would be a challenge.

It requires a lot of thinking and planning to end up at your destination, it could be just like back in the day. Food and water is going to be required, and you could take along a healthy vitamin capsule with you to take each day for extra energy. You could always try and find your own food and water, but that is totally up to you. If you go by yourself you could get a whole lot of quiet time in and get your life in order. We all use different means to become grounded and this is one that might be of a great benefit. It is not going to be easy.

Let’s say that you give yourself a week to make it to a destination that is seventy miles away. You know where it is on a map, but you can’t bring a map and all you have is a compass and the sun. You will have to hike at least 10 miles per day, and without any equipment you are going to have to somehow figure out how long 10 miles is. Once you finally make it to where you want you will feel a great deal of accomplishment.

The Christmas season is coming up. Celebrate it with parties with friends and family. This fun Christmas party game is a great enhancement on any party your throw, whether it’s at the office, school, home, with kids or adults! Follow these directions, ideas and tips for a fun time:

Make two teams of players with all of the party guests.

One player picks a card from a pile that has names of Christmas songs on it.

The player who chose the card has to keep the card a secret and hum the tune of the song for the team members to guess what the song is.

Using a watch or timer, the team has 30 seconds to guess what the song is for one point.

Keep score on a chalkboard or a whiteboard.

This game is pretty simple and easy to put together and does not require a lot of supplies or advance planning so it’s a great idea for a last minute party if the crowd gets dull or the mood seems to wane. It is probably best to get the party games started about halfway through the night so that guests have arrived and feel comfortable but it is not so late that they are tired and wanting to leave.
